Nak tambah cerita Syahid. Sama sekapal ... Fridge, furnitures semua floating, kereta and van gone case ... Beribu dah tentunya, berapa ribu tu yang belum dan tak nak tahu ... in my case, times two. Tapi I am okay, memang REDHA, harta boleh di cari, penat boleh recover. Alhamdullilah, my brother from Seremban came two consecutive day membanting tulang. My sister & hubby from Putrajaya too came on the banjir day itself and the following day. My brother from Banting too with his two Indon male worker came to help out ... It was so tiring and painful physically, alang kan pintu nyatoh kembang, apalah lagi urat 40 year old lady, jalan pun berdengkut-dengkut ... But like always, in time, things do get better.
Neighbours was wonderful, including Syahid yang call, baru lah tahu what's happening out there and that food can be found. Mengharung air masa dah turun sampai ke pinggang, itu pun nak cari rescue boat to take my kids and mother-in-law out. Nampak kelebat boat ada lah, nak kejar tak larat. So close to 5p.m. knowing that we are running out of time before sun goes down (blackout), baru lah mengharung air with the kids and baru lah tahu ada base camp near Mayang Sutera. Managed to get Bomba's help to fetch my mother-in-law.
Yang tak best cuma satu, lady neighbour belakang rumah yesterday, I bertanya khabar, dia grumble suruh kami clean the back lane which we never use and it never occurred in our mind that we need to clean. Macam-macam perangai ada. Yang terbest, lawatan di malam hari by Syahid, KD, Sheirm and hubbies ... You know what my husband said? "you do have good friends". Nori, Badar, Yati Hamid thanks for calling.
Kim, Emmy thanks for the sms and office friends pun ada yang datang.
Actually, nak panjang kan cerita, I escape Tsunami. Tuhan tu sayang makhluk dia, bagi dugaan, supaya beringat. Kami ada kat Batu Ferringi, I duduk atas tikar jaga my 4 year old daughter main pasir, the rest semua tengah bermandi-manda. My eldest son lagi lah, floating atas pelampung quite far away as he can swim quite well. Thank God, I dah nampak the thin white line berirama moving closer to the shore, sebelah ada one group of Mat Salleh yang dah start calling their friends out from the water. The minute pakcik jual pelampung call out "ombak besar", I ran to call for my family and we managed to climb to the roadside before the water splashed onto us. Yang belakang kami, semua dah tak nampak dah. Terus masuk kereta, basah-basah, gigil-gigil, drive all the way out from Penang, only stop once sampai mainland, before continue driving back all the way to Shah Alam, berapa hari termenung.
Okay lah cukup sampai di sini, bukan senang I ni nak tulis panjang2.
